Limited Partnership (LP) Same Day Registration and Limited Partnership (LP) Certified Copies - How to apply for a refund.

Companies House fees were revised in 2004 and the new fees came into force on 1 February 2005. As a result of the full review it became apparent that the same day service for LP incorporations and the LP certified copies service were being over charged. As soon as this was identified Companies House stopped charging the incorrect amount. All registrations are now charged at £2.

Who should I contact?
Applicants who have registered LPs using the same day service or obtained LP certified copies in England and Wales should apply in writing for a refund to Marie Connors, Customer Care, Companies House, Crown Way, Maindy Cardiff CF 14 3UZ

Applicants who have registered Scottish LPs using the same day service or obtained LP certified copies should contact Dianne Brooks at Companies House, 37 Castle Terrace, EH1 2EB Edinburgh.

What do I need to apply for a refund?
Applicants should provide the name and registration number of the Limited Partnership plus proof of their original payment for the same day incorporation or certified copy.
