How do I access information that is not available through Companies House Products and Services?

Companies House provides a great deal of information on this website and also on our Publication Scheme.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, each public authority must produce a Publication Scheme. This is a register describing the information it holds that is currently made available to the public; where the information is available from; in what form; and whether or not it is free of charge and aims wherever possible to provide an easy method of accessing it.

What if the information I want is not available on the website or Publication scheme?

If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website or the publication scheme, you can make a request for that information under the Freedom of Information Act. If your request is for personal information that we may hold about you, you can request that information under the Data Protection Act.
