5. Currently Companies House requests that data is sent to us via email.

CH could consider the use of digital signatures on documents, and ensure that data sent to Companies House uses an encrypted (HTTPS) webservice for security. If available would this provision be utilised by your company?

Currently a maximum of 50 general documents can be submitted per email. It is suggested that a WEB service call would pass only one document at a time to CH. Would this be acceptable to your systems?

Currently CH implements its own security, based on presenter and company authentication codes. However, the Government Gateway has introduced a Registration and Enrolment service enabling Individuals, Organisations and Agents, to have a unique authentication for all Government services. If possible, would Software Developers prefer that we maintained our own system for authentication, or move towards the Government Gateway's authentication system?
