eBilling service FAQs
The site is saying my details cannot be verified and I am unable to register for the service?
If your account has been opened recently please check your registered e-mail address for your registration e-mail. This will contain a link for you to follow to register, along with a unique code to enter to complete the process.
If your account has not recently been opened please complete all the necessary fields required for registration on the registration page.
Should you have difficulty with either of the above solutions please telephone our contact centre on 0303 1234 500, who will log your call to our Finance team to contact you.
I am unable to download the invoice from the system?
If using Internet Explorer 9.0 there can be an issue between Explorer 9.0 and HTTPS (not HTTP) websites where downloads are required. In IE 9.0 there is an advanced security setting "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" which inhibits the saving of encrypted pages and consequently any encrypted downloads. To remedy this please complete the following:
If using any other browser and you are unable to download the file when clicking 'open' please try the following. Instead of clicking to 'open' the file please click the 'save' tab and save the document somewhere onto your computer such as your desktop, you should then be able to view the invoice by opening the saved document.

I do not know my password to log into eBilling?
The password for eBilling is chosen by the customer so we will have no record of it on Companies House systems. If you do not know your password use the forgotten password screen where you will need to input your account number and registered e-mail address, once submitted a temporary password will be e-mailed to you. Once received please log in using the temporary password where you will then be prompted to change the password to something of your choice. Please note that passwords are case sensitive and we would recommend that you copy and paste the temporary password into the required fields when completing this process.

I have received my reminder e-mail to download my invoice but my account number does not appear on the e-mail?
This is currently under investigation by our software provider who is looking to remedy this shortly.
I have not received a reminder e-mail to download my invoice?
Please check your SPAM or JUNK e-mail box to see if the reminder has been filtered by your system, our invoices are produced at the beginning of every month and the e-mail will be sent as soon as they are available for our customers to download.
